The Finance Council is an advisory or consultative body to the Pastor in matters pertaining to the ordinary or extraordinary matters of financial administration. The relationship of the Council to the Pastor is supportive and collaborative, and while the Finance Council does not have decision-making authority, consultation is at the heart of the decision-making process. The Council is to share, with the Pastor, the responsibility for the prudent administration of parish financial affairs and to formulate policy and procedures in service to the effective management of parish assets.
The parish has two pastor-appointed trustees; the trustees are also members of the Parish Finance Council. The trustees act as counsel to the Pastor in a variety of matters.
